@emnlytb Agree with you, and moreover Gaga has not so much with M : she makes glam-heavy-industrial-pop with surrealist MVs, all things M never did. I love them both a lot, and I'm glad they each are in the game, cause they are different !
But I disagree : yes M is the Queen of Pop, but she HAS competition. Not with Gaga but with others. And actually there is one girl who got her way till be equal to M, she's the only one to have done that but she is : Ayumi Hamasaki.

Madonna is Italian-American so she is not connected to Judaism or being Jewish. About the Gaga comparisons. Madonna was before Gaga, so Gaga is based on Madonna's work. Now to what I wanted to originally say on this comment. This is my favorite song so far that hasn't been released. I think it should have been released. I relate to this song A LOT. @LohengrinT What does being Jewish or being a prostitute have to do with anything? I don't think Madonna is technically Jewish even now, she's a Kabbalist, which isn't the same thing (just ask any Jew) and if she ever was a prostitute, (which has never been proven and isn't anyone's business to begin with,) she hasn't been one since long before you were most likely even born. Where do you get off judging people?

@spicygaga This song was done in 2009 from elements of the song "Sorry" and considered for inclusion on *Celebration*. I believe it was produced by Paul Oakenfold, who produced "Celebration" and the remix of "It's So Cool" that was featured on the iTunes Deluxe Edition, not to mention all the remixes he's done for Madonna's singles over the years.

@hithr3000 I don't think it's a coincidence that so many unreleased songs have leaked now that Madonna has left Warner. Legitimately releasing those songs as a stand alone album, rather than part of a boxed set or some other retrospective release, is unlikely because of the licensing issue. Madonna doesn't stand to gain much financially from such a release, if Warner would even grant permission. I'm pretty sure she or her management authorized the leaks. Smart bit of guerilla marketing, I'd say.

I think there are valid analytical comparisons to be made between Madonna and Lady Gaga. They're both pop performance artists. They've both been heavily influenced by 20th Century pop art, particularly Warhol, though Madonna's influence was more direct. She knew Warhol well before she was famous. I don't even know if Gaga was born before Warhol's death. She's a kid, not so different from 90% of the club kids poutily smoking outside clubs in the rain. I was one of them myself not so long ago…
